We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of SENIOR KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (Toronto).
The Senior Key Account Manager is accountable for developing and growing profitable sales for our key customer Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart while achieving Hain Celestial Canada’s corporate volume and contribution objectives.
•Achieve targeted sales, contribution
•Develops and executes Joint Business Plans that deliver against company and customer objectives / strategies
•Conducts business reviews, selling stories and proposals to achieve customer needs
•Collaborates with cross functional teams to identify and develop innovative products, promotions and effective merchandising
•Analyzes data performance that leads to recommendations
•Initiates and generates new business to drive sales, profit
•Forecasting, Trade Spend Management, Deduction clearing
•Participate in trade shows and other commercial events
•Knowledge and understanding of account planning processes (planning, execution, objective setting, presentations, and administration)
•Initiates, owns and leads all execution details
•Leverages all available resources and mobilizes them to achieve the needs of customer
•Clear and concise communication internally and externally
•Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
•Strategic, analytical, problem solving, solution oriented and decision making skills
•General business acumen with a solid understanding of, and ability to bring together financial
performance indicators, brand management principles and effective selling skills
•Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
•Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
•Understanding of Precima / Top Shelf Data
•Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
•5 years sales experience preferably within the Canadian food industry and/or CPG
•Undergraduate degree preferred
•Experience in retail operations, category management, sales strategy, trade marketing is also an asset
Sales experience calling on Shoppers Drug Mart and/or Loblaws
