Indian-Inspired Caramelized Onion Yogurt Dip

  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-low heat. Add onion; cook, stirring often, until golden brown and soft. Stir in garlic and spices. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Let cool.
  2. In medium bowl, stir together yogurt, cilantro, lime rind and juice and honey. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in onion mixture until well blended. Cover and refrigerate for up to a day.
  3. Bake Falafel Balls in oven according to package directions. Serve hot with dip.

 Makes about 1 cup (250 mL).

NOTES: Recipe may be doubled; use 1 tub (500 g) The Greek Gods® Traditional Plain Yogurt. Dip may also be used with Yves Veggie Cuisine® Kale & Quinoa Bites.
