The Power of Sharing

July 25, 2012

Fresh Choice Kitchens, the community kitchen program of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society, was honoured to be chosen as one of Hain Celestial’s non-profit partners in their social responsibility campaign, the Power of Sharing.

Hain Celestial was looking for programs involved in educating people and helping them understand the universal power of food; its power to inspire, nurture, build health, fulfill social and cultural needs and its ability to bring people in families, communities and other groups together. The company wanted to be engaged in the community in a way that built capacity, provided education and had a tangible impact.
