After the hummus is prepared, how long can it be kept in the refrigerator?
Same as other similar prepared food. Unused portions should be covered and refrigerated promptly and consumed within approximately 3-4 days.
In the Organic Lemon Spinach Couscous is the spinach made with sulphite?
There is no added sulphite in the dehydrated spinach.
Is the nutritional information for the packaged product or cooked product?
Nutritional info is for the product as packaged. We do not provide nutritional info for a product after it is cooked.
Are all of your Casbah® varieties free of MSG?
There is NO MSG added to any of our Casbah® products.
Are all of your Casbah® varieties vegetarian?
All of our Casbah® varieties are vegetarian, made with 100% animal-free ingredients only.
Can you tell me what spices are contained in your Casbah® Nutted Pilaf?
Our Casbah® Nutted Pilaf contains a Masala spice blend consisting of coriander, cumin, cinnamon and black pepper.
What is the source of the ink used on your Casbah® and Niles® products?
Both our Casbah® and Niles® and Health Valley® and Breadshop™packaging print comes from soy based ink. Most manufacturers use an alcohol based ink.
Do the directions for making your Casbah® Tabouli call for cold water or hot water? I have two boxes with conflicting directions.
Our Tabouli directions now call for the addition of HOT water.
